I want guest writers. My first guest writer’s story attracted 1100 readers and a number of new paid subscriptions. I will pay you a stipend if your story brings the publication paid subscribers. The amount will not be large, but it will be part of your writing revenue stream. This is an open-ended call for pitches. We’ll use one story each month, on average.
Pen2Profit is sailing along nicely in the Substack universe. We’re growing with more than 4,000 subscribers—and a special thanks to those who have chosen to take a paid subscription. I’d like to use some of those funds to encourage your writing. Here’s how:
I’m looking for guest writers to write an appropriate post just for Pen2Profit. This is a call for story pitches. If you have an idea that offers insight and value to our readers, please send it to me at [email protected] as a Google or Word Doc.
Roughly outline your idea and tell me why you are the best writer for the story. Give me a clear idea of how soon you could submit a finished piece.
If I agree that your idea is perfect, together we’ll polish it and publish it under your byline.
Opportunity #2
As promised, your paid subscription gives you access to me (yay!). Right now, I will do an in-depth developmental review of stories sent to me by paid subscribers. I’ll review the first ten I receive and return a report to you that will help you refine your process. I’ll waive my typical $50 fee for your story up to 2000 words. Send it to me at [email protected]
That’s it for today, sorry to have jumped in to your inbox twice today!
This is a clear and attractive proposition. Writing with you seems like a professional treat. We just met through Substack and I am in the orientation phase with you. That means I will dedicate time to read the writing you've done for three decades in many publications. I intend to decide my payment option with you in October.
That's great. I will email you.
Thank you
